• Recently a method has been developed to determine the ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) percentage in a binary blend with ethylene – propylene – diene elastomer (EPDM). Ethylene–propylene–diene elastomer (EPDM) is used as a thermal insulator for rocket motors. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was carried out to improve the proportions in the blend and thereby, improve the quality of aerospace materials. 
• Nano – Silica & Graphene are used as reinforcing fillers in recycled rubber composites. A study was carried out to improve the mix ratio; it was found that when recycled rubber composites were doped with Nano – Silica & Graphene toughness increased & tribological behavior improved.  
• Recycled rubbers composite have heavy use in the defense & aerospace industry. In a recent research low-cost DE vulcanized recycled rubber composite was prepared by doping with fine gamma – Alumina & other small reinforcements such as nano graphene platelets & carbon nanotubes. These composites were tested for aeronautical engineering purposes such as critical energy release & fracture toughness stress intensity factors were determined.
